The Inteyo Diary: April 2009

dear friends

18th of april 2009 was the day that we had made it all happened, who can predicted that we will make such a good memories and good friends along the way, we started with everyone not knowing each other, still in your school groups and still dont want to say "Hi" to your new friends but after awhile you guys managed to find yourself out of your comfort zone and let me recall you guys back what mostly had happened so that it will always be in our mind forever and ever..
We start with our ride on the truck, for those first timers it was a crazy and enjoyable ride, what a nice moment we had together..
Everyone were amazed how lucky they were to had this wonderful experienced to join this April Camp especially at this so called "heaven" which I also agreed, we had been welcoming by a wonderful smile from Adeline's it self, what a nice lady with a big heart, she will always be in our heart.
We started well with out introduction and with our group dynamics, everyone still abit shy but after awhile they managed to get know about each other and started to 'gel'..
After awhile everyone started to feel hungry, everyone started to smile and had the sense of relieve when our CC said the word "LUNCH" and everyone liked cant wait to see what to fulfill their stomach, it was a wonderful food, amazing and glorious food to had in Adeline's Rest House and we still eager for more...Thank You Adeline..
Group flags and group cheers, two of our important aspect in We R One!
What I still cant forget about the group flag for Five Starz when Hua Wei asked if they(the group members) put double ZZzz in the flag then we all going to sleep..haha..all burst into laughed and we really had so much fun and so much memories together, other groups really tried their best to present thier group cheer and really showed their group spirit, that what really matters in these camp..
"Fire Is The Test Of Gold and Adversity Is The Test Of A Strong Person"... remember this line??
Who can hardly forget this line where they had to shout it until most of them lost their voices..(which is me) so, this time was the hunting list, which they had to find all those items and some they need to present it to the facis then only they completed everything, what a night! All campers were sorrouding the area....But at the end all of them completed the task they given, most of the facis were there to support their babies and giving encourangment...
Its just so many to describe and I only can describe part of the Hunting List..
1) jasheena rap-ed was really cool and even the facis also SS..XD
2) alot of Phua Chu Kang fanatic here and some we can see their talent in acting...
3) a new tongue twister in BM which was last minute creation
4) ethnic dance turned into a free style dance
5) and many more things that so hard to explained...

2nd day started with our own InteYo traditional style of "strees" ..
which the groups punya flag were hiden and they had to find it if not they have to face a punishment.. this test their patients and their stress of facing problems and can you imagined it was 3am in the morning and they had to woke up and find the one single flag, but what surprised me most alot of them not only find their own group flags but also the other groups flag as well, you can see how important helping each other and giving the other person a hand when they need so..I think most of them really learnt something from this session..
Hiking/Stream trotting was done on the first day and how it was really unscheduled activity where on the second day we cant go for stream trotting because of the weather and most of them blame "Me" because of my wonderful voices..XD...
But we really had so much fun and every groups really showed their commitment by shouting their group cheers and continue singing till the most unimagined incidents happened where chee yuen and mabel got a bee sting at their back, and all of us need to return back to ground immediately after that, what a day and what a challenge but for the facis we were glad that not the campers that got it because if the campers who got it we will be extremly worried...
Reached our camp site earlier than expected and it was raining cats and dogs, so jeffrey and rajiv planned to have a new group dynamics which was related to the beauty pagent which was called Mr/Ms Universe InteYo 2009, it was so dramatic and everyone really had so much fun and kept laughing, what a nice session to see everyone enjoyed and this time most of them already very closed to each other and words cannot describe how it felt, right??
When The Going Gets Tough!! The Tough Gets Going!!!
That was been shouted by me when I had to conducted the Level 2 which was "Tolerance"..to my surprised all of them were very strong and really showed their 100% spirit into this level, the cheers,the "I must hang on 2",caterpillar 1, caterpillar 2, group blind trail, and trust walk...what a nice and a long day we had together...
Story Time...by our own story teller,Preeya..
She really made the story to a very different level...salute la to our own Drama Girl!!
And the night was still young where it was our Level 3, no one can forget how it was that night, i'm very glad that alot of the campers can finished and completed the Level 3 sucessfully...and at this particular time most of them really "GEL"..not a single word cant describe how it felt that night for all of us..nightzz

3rd day and the last day, what a sad moment and cant forget where everyone were really felt upset because how much they spend and how much they share between each other, we had a good start in the morning when we had to do the "Makarina" a bit of shake there and here, it was fun and most of us really had so much fun together..miss those moment..=(
feelings..it was a very special thing, and all the campers had the experienced to expressed their feelings, I was very touched and burst into tears when most of the campers really did a good job in letting go..=)
this 3rd day was so much emotions, and i really dont know how to described with a single word..
Maybe You Guys out there who went to experienced this LC0409 will understand what kind of words to describe it..for me I only have two words for it ...
SIMPLY IRRESISTABLE!!!!
I hope those who at school can concentrate on their studies and keep going because life is full of surprises you might not knowing what happen and most of ourlives is just like a roller coaster..its up and down..so you guys out there just get ready for the ride and its just the beginning of our amazing journey!!!
I miss you guys..even when I'm writing this down also I wanna cried already..
